Pentomino Coaster

Pentomino Coaster is a 3D-printable model to show off mastery of multi-color printing. The model uses 14 colors, but it can still be 3D-printed on a Bambu printer with four-color AMS. Here is the recipe. First you make (or download) separate STL models for each color, and import them together into Bambu Studio. Next, you create as many different colors as you need (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,...), and assign each model to its color. Next, you assure that all colors are 3D-printed in the intended order. Then press "print" in Bambu studio. Here, you assign each color to one of the four AMS slots in the order 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4-1-... The printer is loaded with the first four colors. When one color has finished printing, you load that AMS slot with the next color for that slot. It requires some logistic to avoid mistakes. I always keep an empty slot to easily remember which one is next, and also to prevent that the printer catches up with me, and accidentally print the same color twice.
